 ^ 12 Angry Men (1957) | UHD Blu-Ray (4k) | | Black-and-white movie which looks superb. There's a lot of film-grain which looks really beautiful in this movie. The image quality takes a dip at the end of the movie, maybe due to change of lighting, but for the absolute majority, the movie looks crisp and sharp. Its always a joy to watch an old movie which just looks absolutely stunning! Of course, being filmed on analog film, many old movies look really good and this one is no exception. |
+^ リング (Ring) (1998) | UHD Blu-Ray (4k) |  | So surprised by this one! Expected the "good" ole' VHS-look, got a beautiful sharp 4k film-look. This one has to be real 4k, no way it is an upscale. The resolution and sharpness are great, which really shines when the movie shows news articles where each letter is crisp and clear. A good movie to enjoy your sharp 4k TV! |
